BACKGROUND

F1 Arcade is creating the most memorable and competitively thrilling hospitality experiences, globally. F1 Arcade is a partnership with Formula 1 that creates a next-level competitive socializing experience. It brings immersive state-of-the-art F1 racing simulation to a mass audience paired with a globally inspired food and beverage program. F1 Arcade is diverse and appeals to a wide range of audiences including adult social groups, corporate events, families, and everything in between. The first two F1 Arcade locations are open and operating in the UK and continue to bring an unparalleled experience with rave reviews. Our first US location is set to open in April 2024 in the Boston Seaport District with 25 additional sites opening in the United States over the next 5 years.


PURPOSE

To build and maintain both an internal and external pipeline of top talent to fill our open roles within the US Division.


JOB DESCRIPTION

This position will partner with our Marketing and Store Operations to manage strategic aspects of F1 Arcade Operations including manager staffing, team member staffing, team member recognition and retention programs, administrative support and program development. Our Manager of Talent Acquisition should understand and have a working knowledge with leading human resources practices in the of hospitality industry including recruitment, selection, hiring, retention strategies and team member relations.


SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition

  • Source and attract passive job seekers for operating positions. This includes creating and maintaining hiring profiles, job descriptions, as well as handling the process of how we source and generate candidate flow.
  • Effectively train management team and/or execute a variety of recruiting tactics including management referrals, internet job postings, use of research firms and "headhunters," job fairs and open houses, college recruiting, and a variety of media options including social media.
  • Play a central role in the development and execution of long-term strategies and tactics to attract and retain the best management candidates to the Company.
  • Work with marketing on producing and posting effective ads, postings, etc. for recruitment.
  • Provides consistent communication to management, directors, and VPs regarding updates on all active recruiting efforts.
  • Responsible for setting up all Salaried Management interviews between candidates and selected Senior Operations members.
  • Handles all aspects of on-boarding for F1 Arcade operations management and F1 Arcade Home Office Operations team members including the following: initial communication; ensuring paperwork is sent and completed; communicate any applicable travel; and being the liaison with the L&D department to set up initial training; and following up on the success of on-boarding/induction.

Operational Support

  • Reinforce by example and leadership our Core Values of: Pursuit of Excellence, Positive Energy Conscious Integrity
  • Monitor team member staffing levels, including the tracking and pars by unit and position. Evaluate trends to determine successful programs for attracting newly hourly positions.
  • Administer and monitor Team Member recognition programs including team member of the month, anniversaries, and quarterly recognition.
  • Promote compliance with federal and state labor laws and effectively teach management how to apply those laws.
  • Support the Operations team on a variety of value-added services including performance management, succession planning, needs analysis, team member morale & recognition programs and retention strategies.
  • Coordinate and track team member learning programs under the direction of our Director of Learning and Development.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS, DESIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION

  • 2-4 year degree, HR Certification, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in both recruitment and team member relations.
  • Knowledge of relevant Federal and State employment laws.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and with the ability to listen attentively and actively.
  • Prior hospitality experience at any level is a plus.
  • Ability to travel, up to 15% of the time.
  • 40+ hour work week with occasional weekend work required.
