Senior Data Conversion Programmer | Eagle

The Senior Data Conversion Programmer participates in client facing projects with responsibility for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Works as part of a remote team environment.

What you will be doing:

• Extract Data from customer’s current software
• Transform Data based on customer specific mapping
• Load data into Epicor Solution
• Advocate for the customer by owning and driving solutions on escalated customer issues, working with project managers and other functional leaders
• Meet utilization targets and complete project deliverables on time
• Work independently and as part of a team.

What you will likely bring:

• Python and common Python libraries (pandas, numpy, etc.) or similar language
• SQL Expertise
• Data/Text Manipulation experience
• Familiarity with common databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres)
• Data Mining experience (deciphering tables/fields in databases)
• Linux command line experience
• Organizational and time management skills
• Troubleshooting methodology/skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and participate in discussions with business and technical leaders
• Customer centric, results oriented, self-starter and able to work independently
• Data-driven with a commitment to process; drive/track consistent engagement process
• Familiarity with older databases such as dbase, Foxpro, and Btrieve
• Text/Report scraping experience

Qualification:

• 5+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
• 2+ years of specialized/industry experience
• High school diploma
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to work flexible hours including some early mornings and late nights
