The Senior Value-Based Programs Professional supports successful value-based provider relationships with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving path-to-value goals. The Senior Value-Based Programs Professional work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Humana is seeking an individual to provide support for its expansion of value-based programs, working heavily with internal and external stakeholders to achieve success in the value-based space. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and valuation of new programs, as well as the maintenance of current programs.

• Utilizes complex SQL, SAS, Power BI, and other technical skills to drive process improvement and assist markets in managing their value-based relationships
• Conducts research and produces reporting of key performance metrics, providing an understanding of how the data reconciles and what it means for current and potential programs
• Assists in producing reports and completing ad hoc requests using Excel, PowerPoint, SAS and other various analytical tools
• Provides support for current value-based agreements
• Grasps complex subjects and works independently to devise creative solutions
• Aids in the evaluation and expansion of all value-based programs into new markets and business areas

Use your skills to make an impact

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience with data interpretation and analysis (example: program performance and financial results)
• Microsoft Office Suite expertise, particularly in Excel: pivot tables, formulas, graphs, etc.
• Financial and business acumen; proven ability to put context around data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Knowledge of SAS, SQL or other relational database management systems
• Experience with Microsoft PowerBi or similar data visualization tool
• Familiar with Humana’s internal systems (EDW, Service Fund, etc)

Additional Information

This role is considered "remote/work at home" and can be based anywhere in the United States, however, preference will be given to candidates that are currently located in the Louisville, KY region.

• Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
• Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$76,800 - $105,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
