Communications Manager (Remote)

Position Summary

Through our patented research SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) at wRatings, we help executives make superior decisions using predictive analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to grow company revenues. We license our platform to small & large organizations, hedge funds, PE firms, and channel partners in the consulting industry.

We are a Tampa-based company seeking a high energy, tech-savvy Communications Manager to build, execute and lead outreach campaigns via email and business social media tools (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.). You will take full ownership of the campaigns, working with minimal assistance, along with our overall public relations. You will be evaluated by growth in our consumer panel, business membership and lead generation.

As with all wRatings team members, you must possess a highly competitive mindset, strong business acumen, out-of-the-box thinking and be hungry to win. You must go beyond the basics to ensure attention to detail and contingencies are part of your everyday process.

As Communications Manager, you will own the start-to-finish management for designing and delivering campaigns, including responding to individual inquiries via email and/or phone calls. You will generate demand using our published W Reports™ that track customer perception of well-known companies on a repetitive basis. Our clients include CEOs/Presidents and their executive teams.

In addition, you are responsible for generating awareness of our research panels with consumers and business professionals. We run our panels on a quarterly basis to collect data using our proprietary research methods. Training in the wRatings research methods and SaaS is provided for all team members.

The Communications Manager is a full-time position that offers tremendous professional and personal growth. All work is 100% remote with minimum travel annually to company events. You must be a self-starter, highly motivated and process-driven.

How You Will Contribute to our Success

· Create highly compelling and engaging B2B (business-to-business) digital campaigns from The W Reports™ we publish regularly to attract future clients

· Develop sequenced email campaigns targeted to senior executive audiences that builds brand awareness, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty

· Deploy campaigns in a consistent manner across various digital media such as LinkedIn, Google Ads, and Twitter

· Generate media inquiries, article placements, video testimonials, stock analyst coverage, and investor relations mentions about The W Reports™

· Manage database of panelists and business members, which includes attracting, vetting, and communicating with our online community

· Assess and respond to inquiries from panelists, members, and subscribers

· Assist development team in creating instruction videos and writing help text

· Submit weekly status/performance reports of deliverables, including Google Analytics reports on our websites

Essential Requirements

· Self-starter who is passionate about helping organizations succeed by meeting their goals

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in performance-based marketing within a B2B organization

· Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, design, and publishing skills

· Strong verbal communication skills along with superb listening skills, including the ability to present concepts and develop relationships quickly in a remote environment

· Attention to detail, accuracy and follow through to ensure high quality campaigns

· Analytically inclined and logic oriented, with solid conceptual understanding of business principles

· Strong project management skills, including the ability to priority set and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work atmosphere

· High energy professional with deep personal confidence that can work equally effective by themselves and/or as part of a team

· Ability to take projects from start to finish with minimal assistance

Preferred Skills

· Proficient use of LinkedIn campaigns, Twitter and other popular business social media tools

· Proficient use of MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word in a MS Windows environment

· Proficient use of Zoom, MS Teams or other video platforms

· Experience with E-mail/CRM Platforms (e.g., MailJet, Zoho)

· Experience with WordPress

· Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics

· Experience with Project Management Software such as Jira, etc.

· Experience with common survey tools such as Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, etc.

Position Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Psychology, English, Mathematics, Economics or Finance required

· Must have functional workspace including personal computer and video-reliable internet connection

· Ability to work prolonged periods of time sitting at desk on computer

· Approved to legally work in the United States

Position Details/Benefits

· Base salary (exempt), paid monthly

· 401(k) Plan with Company Match

· Standard office hours, Monday-Friday, with flex time as needed

· Fully Remote location (any US time zone)

· Travel to company-sponsored events may be required (2 to 4 days per year)

· Vacation Time plus all standard paid holidays, including full pay for Dec 25-Jan 1 when company is not open

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
