Youmecan is a comprehensive tutoring center located in southern California. We offer multiple subjects in a group class setting such as Math, ELA/ELD, Spanish, Coding, etc. for K-8th grade students. We also provide private tutoring for all grade-level students in all subjects including Math, ELA, ELD, Science, Social Studies, History, Chemistry, Physics, etc.
Were now recruiting ELA\ELL\ELD Teachers\Tutors around grades 4-5 for the 2024 Spring After School Program.
Requirements:
Education background: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in English, Education or related.
Teaching experience: At least 1 year of virtual teaching experience in a public/private school, Academy, Institution or related field.
Familiar with the Common Core state standard, capable of lesson planning and curriculum development.
Proficiency in Zoom classroom management.
Teaching credential/Certification/License is not required, but preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students in ELA/ELD/ELL.
- Assess students learning needs and develop personalized lesson plans to address their specific areas of improvement.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents or guardians.
- Excellent organizational skills to plan and prepare lessons in advance.
Please note that this is not a full-time position. Tutoring hours may be scheduled on a part-time or as-needed basis.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
