POSITION SUMMARY:
- The Administrative Design Assistant reports to the Divisional Director of Design.
- Full-Time
- Remote
- Anticipated application deadline is 3/21
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborative Design Support:
o Assist in collaborative efforts on various commercial kitchen projects, gaining exposure to all design phases.
o Work closely with senior team members to contribute to design concepts and project deliverables.
Coordination and Documentation:
o Assist in coordinating the lifecycle of drawings, from order placement to procurement, under the guidance of experienced team members.
o Learn to document design plans, ensuring clarity and adherence to quality standards.
Presentation and Training Documentation:
o Contribute to the development of graphical presentation drawings, showcasing design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
o Participate in the creation of training documentation, gaining exposure to industry standards and best practices.
Problem-Solving and Learning Curve:
o Proactively identify challenges and work alongside experienced team members to find innovative solutions.
o Embrace a continuous learning curve, leveraging mentorship opportunities to enhance problem-solving skills.
COMPETENCIES:
- Willingness and ability to learn, adapt, and work with evolving project requirements, software, and industry standards to drive innovative solutions.
- Strong commitment to working effectively within a team, actively participating in collaborative efforts to achieve project goals.
- Demonstrated ability to address complex issues and provide innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.
- Proficiency in managing schedules, meeting tight deadlines, and overseeing budgets while ensuring the highest level of organization in all aspects of project execution.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients, fostering productive interactions at all levels of the project.
- 0 - 2 years of relevant experience, making this an ideal entry-level position for passionate individuals, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
- Required proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge or interest in coding including Python
- Knowledge in software such as Revit, Power Bi, BIM360, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, AutoQuotes, KCL, and Microsoft Office & Power Platform
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark’s’ benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
