Vaco Boston has partnered with our client to help find an entry-level Help Desk Support Specialist to join its team. This position is onsite in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:

Provide on-site IT support for incoming requests via phone, walk-ins, and scheduled visits during business hours (Monday-Friday).

Troubleshoot and resolve diverse technical issues involving hardware, software, and peripherals; perform system installations and upgrades.

Support key initiatives by migrating user data and settings to new devices.

Manage the device lifecycle by imaging new systems and securely wiping old equipment for decommissioning and recycling.
- Assist with various technical tasks such as printer setup and repair, as well as basic network troubleshooting and support.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts, including IP configuration, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and printer/network device setup.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- 1-2 years related experience
