Special Education Teacher Job Summary

Teach students with special needs and provide individualized education plans to ensure each students success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement specially designed instruction for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with general education staff to develop accommodations and modifications.
  • Draft and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Prior Written Notices.
  • Facilitate meetings and communicate with parents, staff, and administrative staff regarding student progress.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid Arizona certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students with special needs.
