Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic manufacturing machines, including robotic assembly equipment, in the production of semiconductor products. This role involves managing large-scale manufacturing machinery, feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, and pulling finished products from the line, all while working from a computer-driven program.

Responsibilities

• Check and inspect operation results against predetermined tolerances.
• Operate traditional fab equipment.
• Operate tools needed for wafer/panel processing.
• Handle delicate materials.
• Perform first-level maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Interface with Engineering, Maintenance, and Management teams.
• Set up and operate assigned production equipment, aiming to achieve quality, efficiency, and productivity goals.

• At least 1 year of machine operating experience.
• Experience with cleanroom and machine operations.
• Ability to operate and load machines with wafers from day one.

• Cleanroom experience is a plus.
• Experience in assembly, production, or medical assembly is beneficial.

Experience growth potential with structured pay evaluations at 6 and 12 months. Benefit from a progressive pay structure based on experience and tenure, with opportunities to advance through operator levels 1, 2, and 3. Upon permanent status, enjoy great benefits, a dollar pay raise, and quarterly bonuses based on production, typically ranging from $1,000 to $2,000.

Work Environment

Work in a Class 100 cleanroom environment with around 50 employees at Elkton and 110 at Federal. Located in Colorado Springs, this role involves working nights and day shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
