Marketing Event Planner
The Business Unit Leader is a strategic executive role responsible for overseeing the operations, performance, and growth of a specific business unit within the organization. This position requires a results-oriented leader with a proven track record in driving business outcomes, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering on key financial and operational metrics. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills, and is adept at navigating complex business environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the strategic vision and operational plans for the business unit in alignment with overall company objectives.
Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team across functions such as Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Support.
Drive profitability and revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, optimizing processes, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies to achieve targets and drive continuous improvement.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the business unit, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance excellence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Champion organizational values, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the business unit.
Prepare and present regular updates, business reviews, and strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in a similar role or industry.
Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and drive business unit growth and profitability.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing remote teams a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with business productivity and analytics tools (e.g., MS Office, CRM, ERP software).
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and remote work environment.
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $70.00 $90.00 per hour
(Rate may vary based on experience, qualifications, and location.)
