Private Wealth Client Service Analyst

The Opportunity

The Private Wealth Client Service Analyst "CSA" will support the Alternative Investments and Structured Investment Product team. The Client Services Analyst will support ~5,000 Series 7 financial advisors and clients as well as teammates in a fast paced, innovative, and collaborative environment. You will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on Alternative and Structured Products policies, procedures, and the subscription and trading process. The CSA will also assist with Alts related TOA follow up, subscription follow up and platform access to advisors and sales assistants.

The Impact

Alternatives are a high growth product range, that require specialized skill set to process private placements, interval funds, structured notes and market-linked CDs, specifically tailored for high-net-worth (HNW) clients. As a Client Service Analyst, you will work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including Alternative platforms, the internal trading desk, and financial advisors on a comprehensive range of offerings.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Field operational inquiries from Financial Advisors & their sales assistants on MMLIS approved third party offerings in a timely manner.

  • Provide pre- and post-trade technical support to advisors and their trading assistants while ensuring adherence to procedural requirements.

  • Facilitate advisor and sales assistant training on the Alternatives platforms, paperwork requirements, and billing.

  • Ensure seamless client onboarding experience by working closely with trading and operational areas.

  • Identify and document operational procedures for ongoing fund maintenance on various platforms.

  • Develop strong understanding of operational platforms and processes and become resident expert for advisors on subscription process and post trade requests.

  • Assist financial advisors with problem resolution of account opening, maintenance items and other inquiries related to client onboarding, servicing (deadlines, platform questions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions).

  • Assist in ad hoc projects / research to support business initiatives.

  • Produce periodic sales reports and analysis for internal projects.

  • Employ tactical thinking to support the execution and implementation of process improvements.

  • Focus on opportunities to improve the ease of doing business for advisors submitting Alternative Investment business.

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 2+ years of experience in an operations, processing or project management role in the financial services industry

  • 2+ years experience working financial advisors to support business growth, product adoption, or client solutions

  • 2+ years of working with Microsoft Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Due to the nature of this position, as a part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA 

The Ideal Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the high net worth and Financial Advisor operating model

  • Experience with Alternative Investments and Structured Investments

  • Knowledge of alternative investment funds and operational terms

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong desire to solve problems.

  • Develop strong working relationships with colleagues, teams and clients

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strategic mindset with the capability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.

  • Knowledge and understanding of FINRA/SEC rules and regulations

Salary Range: $65,800.00-$86,300.00
