Technical Analyst

Job: Technical Analyst Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description: The Technical Analyst (TECANL) collaborates across teams to transform business requirements into system solutions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Works with Business Analyst to interpret customer and business needs and translate them into application, system, technical, and operational requirements.
  • Participates in requirements sessions to document, test, and manage technical needs.
  • Coordinates with business and external partners (Field Operations, Customer Care, vendors) to support full application lifecycle.
  • Communicates technical and business aspects of work across team members.
  • Assesses impact on existing applications and databases based on new requirements.
  • Contributes development input to architects/engineers during the analysis phase.
  • Provides time and resource estimates to project manager for technical tasks.
  • Collaborates with technical teams to ensure comprehensive solution design.
  • Works with QA to verify results of testing and bug fixes.
  • Partners with Development and QA teams for smooth application implementation.
  • Develops documentation including processes, procedures, training guides, and service materials.
  • Engages in peer reviews of solution design documentation.
  • Evaluates vendor documents (e.g., functional specifications, field layouts) for compatibility with requirements.
  • Generates reports and metrics on key service-level indicators.
  • Understands and applies architectural standards across domains: business, information, application, technology.
  • Creates conceptual, logical, and physical representations of enterprise information.
  • Identifies architectural implications from business requirements.
Qualifications & Experience Education:
  • BS/BA or Associates degree in a related discipline, or MS/MA/MBA or Law degree
Experience:
  • 0-2 years (BS/BA or Associates) or 0-1 year (MS/MA/MBA or Law) in a related field
  • Certifications may be required in some areas

  • Supports larger or departmental projects with limited scope
  • Performs tasks in compliance with procedures and protocols
