Claims Coordinator

Vaco is seeking a Claims Coordinator! Will support a claims team by handling incoming calls and emails from members and providers. The company is growing and needs claims specialists to focus on billing, so this role will help by managing administrative inquiries. Theres potential for this to turn into a long-term role if the need is proven.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls and respond to emails and online chats from members and providers

• Educate and assist with inquiries regarding plan benefits, eligibility, and claims (medical, dental, vision)

• Conduct research to resolve claim-related questions

• Handle data entry tasks

• Manage inquiries and updates using the CRM system

• Strong communication skills to respond to inquiries via phone and email

• At least 2 years of experience in a business setting (healthcare is a plus)

• Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; some college preferred

• 2 years of customer service, data entry, or client service experience

• Understanding of healthcare and insurance terminology preferred

• Medical billing and coding knowledge is a plus but not required

  Job Details:

• 100% onsite

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Start date by May 25 (can start sooner)

• Background check required

  Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individuals skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range of $18-19/hr. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the companys 401(k) retirement plan.
