The Opportunity

This position works out of our Austin, TX location, supporting the Electrophysiology medical device team. In Abbotts Electrophysiology (EP) business, were advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

Were seeking an experienced, high caliber Financial Analyst to join our team. You will help support financial planning and analysis

and will also be responsible for preparing financial presentation content for leadership meetings, participate in various projects or tasks, assists with monthly financial closing activities, as well as preparing financial models, ad hoc analysis, and presentations supporting the US commercial team.

What Youll Work On

  • Track and analyze pricing variance, and how pricing and other factors impact gross margin profile
  • Report KPI (key performance indicator) performance, analyze variance drivers, and provide commentary
  • Active involvement in P&L forecast process, including procedures, procedure mix, sales, gross margin, as well as leadership review decks
  • Participates in ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by finance management
  • Executes annual goals and objectives as defined by the Finance team
  • Complies with regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related degree
  • 3 years financial analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP system experience.

The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 - $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
