Human Resources Generalist
POSITION SUMMARY As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in the core functions of our HR department. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of HR activities, including employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. Youll serve as a trusted resource for employees and management alike, offering guidance on HR-related matters, resolving employee issues, and ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment. Your ability to handle confidential information, communicate effectively, and adapt to evolving HR trends and regulations will be essential in supporting our organizations talent management and HR initiatives. - Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, coupled with the ability to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Competence in maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, utilizing HR software and systems for data management and reporting.

- Bachelors degree in business administration, human resources, (liberal arts) or a related field
- A demonstrated commitment to learning about and enhancing practices related to racial equity and its impact on healthcare systems
- 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist role that includes responsibility for employee relations
- Proficiency in (Microsoft office 365) and HRIS systems. ADP, Paycom, and Workday experience a plus
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Strong relationship building and communication skills, including an ability to work and build trust across cultural differences related to race, class, age, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, national origin and ability; and to reflect on ones personal identity with humility
- Valid PHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Project management experience
- Experience with succession planning
- This job operates in a professional office environment/clinical office setting. Potential exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions in a health center environment.
- Requires sitting for long periods of time. Periodic standing, walking, bending. Requires lifting of up to 15 pounds. Visual acuity sufficient to perform frequent work on a computer screen and review printed reports and other materials. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Requires the ability to hear and to communicate orally with others.
