Oracle Application Engineer
We have an exciting opportunity for an Application Engineer - Oracle HCM to join our Oracle HCM Team, based in Tacoma, WA, reporting to Director of IT. In this pivotal role, you will engage with Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) and business stakeholders to design and develop solutions for Oracle HCM initiatives. You will work collaboratively with BSAs to drive efficient, scalable, and standard solutions aligned with business needs.
Be a Contributor — What Youll Do
- Design, Develop and deliver enhancements for Cloud HCM by developing integration reports, analytical reports and dashboards, workflows, HDL and HSDL templates for mass data uploads, fast formulas, and page personalization/customizations.
- Provide application support by monitoring, resolving incidents and conducting root cause analysis (RCA) to implement permanent resolutions.
- Engage with business stakeholders and SMEs to understand business processes, gather requirements, and collaborate with peers on requirement definition, design, and UAT.
- Support business events such as year-end/mid-year compensation cycles and benefits enrollments.
- Adapt and perform effectively in a dynamically changing environment.
- Be proactive in identifying potential issues and implement effective monitoring and validation solutions to ensure system stability and performance.
Be Prepared — What You Bring
- 5+ years of techno-functional experience in Oracle HCM and/or ERP technologies
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle platform (relevant HCM domains include Global HR, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent management, Learning, Recruiting)
- Strong experience in developing HCM Extracts and Fast formula
- Strong experience with SQL and BI Reports (RTF, eText and Excel Template, XSL), Bursting and OTBI Dashboards
- Strong experience with HSDL and HDL (HCM Data Loader), FBDI, PBL (Payroll Batch Loader) and data conversion.
- Other valuable experience includes REST APIs, SOAP, Web Services, Application Composer, Page Composer & Design Studio.
- Possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Candidate should have the ability to perform in a dynamically changing environment
- Bachelors degree in IT or Computer Engineering or other relevant degree
