Strategic Account Manager, Cellular (West US)

Position

We are looking for a results driven Strategic Account Manager to lead and grow our M2M and IoT product sales across the West U.S. region. This role requires a strategic thinker and proactive leader with deep expertise in the M2M/IoT space. You will drive new business, manage key accounts, mentor regional sales teams, and partner with cross-functional teams to accelerate revenue and market share growth in this rapidly evolving space.

What You Will Do

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for M2M/IoT connectivity, hardware, software, and platform offerings.
  • Identify and penetrate high-potential markets including smart cities, utilities, logistics, manufacturing, and transportation sectors.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and margin goals through a disciplined and data-driven sales process.
  • Manage relationships with key ecosystem partners, distributors, and solution integrators.

Customer Engagement & Growth

  • Own executive-level relationships with key customers and prospects.
  • Support the full sales cycle: from discovery and solution design to proposal, negotiation, and post-sale expansion.
  • Translate customer pain points into solution opportunities by aligning with product and technical teams.

Market Development

  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory shifts, and emerging technologies in the IoT and M2M ecosystem.
  • Deliver insights on competitive activity and customer needs to guide product development and strategic planning.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer events across the region.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering and Customer Success to align go to market activities.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Deliver regular sales reports, territory analysis, and business updates to executive leadership.
  • Utilize CRM and analytics tools to monitor performance and adjust strategy as needed.

Desired But Not Required

  • Established network in key vertical markets.
  • Prior experience selling IoT platforms or connectivity-as-a-service solutions.
  • Proven ability to close multi-year, high-value solution deals with enterprise clients.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $204,000 - $319,000. Pay ranges are determined by role, job level and primary job location. The range displayed reflects the reasonable range we anticipate paying for this position and reflects the cost of labor within several U.S. geographic markets. The specific salary offered within the range will depend on various factors including, but not limited to the candidates relevant and prior experience, education, skills, and primary work location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each position. Pay ranges are typically reviewed and updated annually.
