Renovo Construction is DLCs affiliated General Contractor. Currently, Renovo executes and completes $30,000,000 in internal "captive" projects annually. The business plan is to grow Renovo into a $100,000,000 per year General Contractor executing projects both internal to DLC and for external clients.

About the Role:
We are currently on the hunt for an Estimator to join Renovo Construction, a DLC affiliated company.. This role will run the estimating process for all projects. We are looking for someone highly collaborative and professional with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain solid relationships both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and build relationships with subcontractors in new markets to get viable bids
• Establish and maintain relationships with architects, engineers and sub- contractors
• Own the bid preparation and bid leveling process and review packages once submitted
• Partner with Project Managers to ensure smooth hand-off; liaise with PM and sub-contractors throughout project execution phase
• Participate and collaborate in negotiation process for contracts for architects, sub-contractors and engineers
• Participate in negotiation process for change order requests
• Proactively participate in Vendor sourcing and prequalification process
• Manage historical cost database, change order database and CM fees
• Provide conceptual estimates based on precedent analysis, cost per sq. ft, historical cost data and contractor feedback
• Manage CRM and MRI budget approval process in partnership with Project Coordination & Administration

Our Next Estimator Has:

• 5-10 years experience as an estimator for a general contractor developing proposals that go to plan
• Significant experience with retailers including but not limited to: Burlington, Five Below, DICKS Sporting Goods, Image Studios, TJX)
• Significant experience in single story ground up buildings including but not limited to: Chipotle, Starbucks, Aspen Dental.
• Experience estimating for retail real estate/shopping centers
• Entrepreneurial spirit; finds a consistent steady pace boring, and loves to move fast and pivot often
• Demonstrates business acumen; understands big picture
• Operates with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Consummate team player and thrives working with others
• Positive, can-do attitude, optimistic

• Confident and assertive, yet humble and respectful, i.e. able to act with persuasion and respect and humility simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

• Self-sufficient with a strong sense of urgency and able to prioritize
• Advanced to expert Excel & Estimating software skills, intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat Pro, etc.

The expected salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $170,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
