A corrections facility is seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.In Haynesville, Virginia, enjoy the serene outdoors at the Rappahannock River Valley National Wildlife Refuge, offering birdwatching and hiking opportunities.This position requires a two-week credentialing timeframe and offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4:30 PM or a 4/10s option. It is open to autonomous NPs and does not involve call duties. The provider will see 18-20 adult patients per day and must hold an autonomous VA license and DEA certification. Support staff includes RNs and LPNs. The facility primarily uses paper charting but utilizes Sapphire for prescriptions.
