Logistics Coordinator

Trinity Industries/RSI Logistics is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the relationship between our clients and the Company located in our Okemos, MI Office.

What youll do: 

• Coordinate services to the existing portfolio of rail accounts.
• Understand Rail car Operations in order to identify potential issues. Take charge of client service issues through to resolution
• Utilize RSIs propriety system, to manage client activity, giving the client complete visibility for service being performed on their behalf
• Responsible for maintaining levels of profitability with all managed clients
• Plans and arranges own work. Uses a wide range of procedures to accomplish assigned objectives
• Performs all other duties as assigned

What youll need:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in rail operations or logistics coordination
• Bachelors degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field preferred or relevant experience
• System savvy (prior ERP experience or Rail TMS experience highly preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
