5:30am - 3pm

POSITION SUMMARY:

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about producing high-quality food products? As a Mixer Operator, youll be at the heart of our production process—ensuring that every batch of liquid egg product is mixed to perfection according to customer specifications. Your work directly impacts the taste, safety, and quality of the products our customers enjoy.

Youll be responsible for setting up the mixing room, managing ingredient flow, and maintaining a sanitary work environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Promote a safe and healthy workplace by following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
  • Set up the mixing room and prepare liquid egg formulations using approved procedures.
  • Accurately mix and transfer batches to holding tanks, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Coordinate product flow to production lines, ensuring timely and continuous supply.
  • Manage documentation for product transfers from the Breaking Department to Pre-Cooked Department.
  • Record batch numbers, pH levels, and egg usage to meet Quality Assurance standards.
  • Maintain and calibrate scales and meters for precise measurements.
  • Operate the Clean-in-Place (CIP) system effectively and at appropriate times.
  • Oversee emulsifier operations and assist with rework/recycle processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the mixing area to prevent contamination.
  • Evaluate product mix quality and take corrective action when needed.
  • Train new mixer operators and support team collaboration.
  • Conduct maintenance reliability line walks and complete required checks in RedZone.
  • Send pasteurized egg from Tanker Bay to Pre-Cooked when needed.
  • Follow GMP and HACCP guidelines to maintain SQF certification.
  • Foster a positive work environment through respectful communication and teamwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.
QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to travel stairs and wear required PPE.
  • Familiarity with Lock Out/Tag Out and Confined Space Entry procedures.
  • Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
  • Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions and solve routine problems.
  • Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
  • Understanding of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Confined Space Entry procedures.
  • Experience operating specialized equipment and tools.
  • Computer literacy, including spreadsheet software.
  • Valid drivers license.
