SAP PSA Consultant - Freelance | 12-Month Contract | US-Based with Travel

We are supporting a leading pharmaceutical & energy client on a global SAP S/4HANA transformation program and are seeking a seasoned SAP PSA (Production Sharing Accounting) Consultant to support delivery within the upstream finance workstream.

Location: Houston, TX (50% onsite alternating weeks)Contract: 12-month freelance engagementStart Date: ASAPIndustry: Energy/Upstream Finance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter expert for SAP PSA in upstream finance

  • Draft functional specs for custom developments and integrations

  • Build and unit test end-to-end PSA solutions

  • Lead PI planning efforts and prepare detailed User Stories

  • Support cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities

  • Collaborate with testing, training, and data teams

  • Engage with SAP product and client teams for issue resolution and risk mitigation

Your Background:

  • 5+ years experience in SAP PSA or Upstream Finance modules

  • Prior involvement in large-scale SAP ERP transformations

  • Strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Experience working across technical and business teams

  • Able to commit to 50% travel as required
