Location: Downtown Los AngelesPay Rate: $95,000.00-$105,000.00 annuallyEmployment Type: Full-Time

Overview:

Our client, a law firm based in Downtown Los Angeles, is looking to hire a Senior Collections Specialist to manage accounts receivable and support billing operations. This role involves direct client contact, resolving billing issues, tracking payments, and generating reports for attorneys and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Partner with the Director of Finance to manage collections and client accounts.

·      Engage with clients and insurance carriers to resolve billing and payment issues.

·      Monitor outstanding balances, short payments, and disallowed items.

·      Send monthly statements and follow up on past due accounts.

·      Alert leadership to potential disputes and assist with resolution.

·      Generate billing and payment reports for attorneys and clients.

·      Participate in collection committee meetings and quarterly billing reviews.

·      Maintain historical billing and receipt reports.

·      Provide backup for posting cash receipts and reconciling daily income.

·      Support attorneys and Finance Director with special projects.

Qualifications:

·      3+ years of experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting.

·      Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred.

·      Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

·      Professional demeanor and client service mindset.

·      Self-starter with excellent time management and attention to detail.

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
