Tag and Title Clerk
Responsibilities:• Prepare, submit, and track tag and title documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles in a timely manner.• Ensure all vehicle sales paperwork adheres to state regulations and dealership policies.• Maintain organized records of vehicle sales, title applications, and registration statuses.• Process title applications for both new and pre-owned vehicles.• Issue license plates and coordinate the delivery of permanent plates to customers.• Verify accuracy of customer information and vehicle details before processing.• Collaborate with customers, sales teams, and finance staff to address title and registration concerns.• Stay informed on updates to state regulations, fees, and procedural requirements.• Protect sensitive customer and dealership information by adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
Requirements• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and CRM systems.• Strong customer service skills, including handling inbound calls professionally.• Familiarity with processes related to the automotive industry.• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.• Knowledge of state regulations regarding vehicle registration and title transfers.• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.• Previous experience in a similar role or related field is preferred.Information :
