Utilities Accommodations Engineer (TE3)Spokane, WA - Eastern Region$78,912 - $106,104 AnnuallyWashington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable candidate to serve as the Utilities Accommodations Engineer in Spokane, WA. Under the direction of the Regional Utilities Engineer this position is responsible for applying WSDOTs Utilities Accommodations Policy/guidelines within Eastern Region.

Requires extensive interaction with public/private utility companies requiring timely response to requests and processing of franchise and permit applications. Prepares General Permits as needed for applicants who want to utilize WSDOT right of way on a temporary basis.

This Transportation Engineer will assist in the Eastern Region Right of Way/Survey section with field surveying, preparation/review of right of way and survey documents and training, assists Plans/Design section with review of PS&E and design documentation, and others as necessary.
