Apply now, Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Welder Worker for a company based in the Dallas area, TX. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as welding, Shielded Metal Arc, Gas Metal Arc Equipment, Press Break, Blueprint reading, Measurement accuracy, and other related duties.

Pay Rate

$25

Schedule and Hours

Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. or until done.

Welder Worker Duties and Responsibilities

• Welding such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment, to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions

• Set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.

• Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux, according to welding chart specifications or types and thicknesses of metals

• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations

• Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required.

Welder Worker Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)

• Basic reading and math skills

• 1+ year industrial fabrication Welding

• Blueprint reading

Scheduling tasks to meet expected timeline

• Stand for long periods and lift 50 - 75 pounds

• Pass a welding test

• Pass measurement test
