Accounts Payable Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, match purchase orders, and verify vendor details to ensure accurate payments.
• Record accounts payable transactions in QuickBooks and ensure consistent updates.
• Utilize 10-key typing skills to perform efficient data entry and ensure accuracy.
• Assist in month-end closing procedures by reconciling accounts payable ledgers and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor vendor accounts for overdue balances and coordinate payments accordingly.
• Support payroll management tasks and assist with accounts receivable processes as needed.
• Provide input into improving accounts payable workflows and documentation standards.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar accounting roles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and understanding of financial concepts, including debits and credits.
• Familiarity with payroll management and accounts receivable processes preferred.
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of corporate accounting practices is a plus.
