Claims Team Lead
Job Overview: This individual will manage various claim processes, transitioning between clients and departments to provide account support as needed. As a licensed adjuster, this individual must possess comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end claims process for multiple clients and be capable of providing assistance at any stage of the claims lifecycle. Responsibilities:
- Cross-Department Support: Assisting different teams as needed, providing insights and support based on your expertise.
- Utilizing Technology: Using tools including but not limited to Xactimate, Symbility. Salesforce, Claims Connect, Snapsheet, and filetrac complete claim processes as needed.
- Communication: Engaging with clients, adjusters, and team members to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration.
- Create Estimates: Use field reporting, photographs, scope notes, and aerial reports to develop estimates according to client guidelines.
- Estimate revisions: Revise estimates as needed per directives from clients, desk adjusters, or management.
- Supplement Settlements: Review, evaluate, and negotiate supplement requests to ensure compliance with client guidelines and local code mandates. Provide guidance to in house staff as well as clients based on your expertise.
- QA Review: Ensure all documentation, estimates, and photographs are accurate based on provided guidelines and recommended scope of repair before submission to client.
- Queue Management: Effectively manage your work queue to meet deadlines.
- Vender Performance: Report any concerns regarding third-party vendors to management.
- 5 Years of increasing property claims experience including writing estimates in both Xactimate and Symbility.
- Experience working for an insurance carrier, independent adjusting, or third-party administrator is preferred.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication ability.
- Effective customer service, organization, critical thinking, conflict management, and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated self-motivation with the ability to plan, organize, and complete tasks independently without close supervision.
- Experience reviewing and negotiating settlements with contractors.
- Individual must maintain and active license in the following states *****
- Experience with Salesforce, Snapsheet, Claims Connect, and Filetrac is preferred.
