Were seeking a confident and visionary leader with 10-15+ years of experience in the fragrance industry who thrives at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and relationship management. As our Regional Account Director, you will shape strategies, guide complex commercial negotiations, and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver results that excite customers and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with brand goals and market intelligence.
- Lead customer relationships with key decision-makers to foster long-term trust and drive top-to-top engagement.
- Calibrate strategies using insights into customer ecosystems, consumer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
- Lead strategic commercial negotiations including pricing, contracts, rebates, and core listings.
- Drive the olfactive vision for brand stakeholders and ensure product differentiation through IFF capabilities.
- Orchestrate internal and external communications to maximize commercial success and sustainability agendas.
- Identify market opportunities and ensure a pipeline of high-impact, strategically aligned projects.
- Manage cross-functional collaborations with Operations, Creative, and Sales to meet customer requirements.
- Champion the IFF Culture Principles and nurture an inclusive, high-performance team environment.
- Inspire and develop top-tier commercial talent through mentorship, coaching, and performance management.
- Define and monitor clear account plans and long-term commercial targets (sales, profitability) across geographies.
- Anticipate threats to business growth and implement corrective actions to maintain momentum and win rate.
- Leverage consumer insights, big data, and strategic foresight to deliver relevant go-to-market solutions.
- Align controllable expenses with P&L expectations and monitor team performance to drive accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred.
- 10-15 years of relevant work experience
- Extensive experience in U.S. market and category management.
- Deep knowledge of fragrance, body care trends, and consumer expectations.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with IT acumen for leveraging big data.
- Proven ability to lead multicultural teams within global organizations.
- Passion for results, customer intimacy, and delivering strategic innovation.
