OverviewWe are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your hospitality skills will shine as you manage reservations, greet guests, and assist in the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
• Assist servers and kitchen staff in coordinating food service to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Utilize POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for managing orders and processing payments.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations during busy periods.

Skills

• Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services.
• Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a collaborative team atmosphere.

Please take note that our large outdoor seating area is on a hill this job can be very physical due to our location !

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 45 per week
