Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, uniforms, and guest laundry are laundered, cleaned, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and professionalism of our hotel environment, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Duties

  • Launder and clean various types of fabrics, including linens, towels, and uniforms, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for specialized garments.
  • Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for easy distribution throughout the hotel.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items to guest rooms and public areas.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management promptly.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with laundering techniques and equipment operation is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all tasks performed.
