Mail and Scanning Processor

Key position details:

This is a Full Time in-office position at 6535 SH-161, Irving, Texas 75039

What is your impact? This Mail and Scanning Processor is responsible for working in a fast-paced environment, handling all inbound and outbound mail and deliveries, sorting and scanning of medical forms, shredding, and other mailroom activities.

What you will be doing:

• Open mail and print reports and faxes. (20%)
• Perform comprehensive detailed sorting of mail, reports and faxes. (40%)
• Scan all mail, reports and faxes according to specific types and instructions. (20%)
• Receive and log all special deliveries including FedEx, UPS, and certified mail. (5%)
• Distribute, deliver and assist with mail, packages and boxes internally. (5%)
• Support other departments in folding, stuffing and posting special mailings. (5%)
• Provide additional scanning support to other departments. (5%)

Qualifications:

• General office skills requiring basic use of office equipment and a computer
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of medical and dental claims preferred.
• Prior scanning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of mailroom equipment and shipping procedures preferred.

General Physical Demands Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
