Experienced Medical Transcriptionist

Small dermatology office is seeking a skilled and efficient Medical Transcriptionist for a one-doctor office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical transcription and the ability to type quicky and accurately. It is preferred that you have some familiarity with dermatology. You must be a skilled and efficient transcriptionist with a knack for multi-tasking and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe chart notes, pathology, and correspondence from audio recordings
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of transcribed documents
• Edit and proofread transcriptions for grammar, spelling, and consistency
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with doctor to clarify dictation and ensure precise documentation

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist
• Exceptional typing speed and accuracy
• Proficiency in medical terminology and healthcare documentation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• No weekends
