Model Risk Management Analyst
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
This position is responsible for executing and supporting model risk management activities with a focus on governance and oversight across the model lifecycle. The role involves reviewing validation documentation, conducting risk assessments, and participating in enterprise-wide governance activities. The individual will maintain a strong knowledge of modeling systems, internal policies, and regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities- Model Validation - Conduct thorough validations of financial models, ensuring their accuracy, reliability, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Risk Assessment - Identify, assess, and quantify risks associated with financial models. Prepare reports on findings and propose mitigation strategies.
- Documentation and Reporting - Prepare comprehensive documentation for model validations, risk assessments, and regulatory submissions.
- Collaboration - Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather necessary information for model validations and risk assessments.
Bachelors Degree and 4 years of experience in Operational Risk, Risk Management in Financial Services OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Operational Risk, Risk Management in Financial Services
Preferred Education: Advanced Degree in Quantitative discipline (math, statistics)
Preferred Area of Study: Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Risk Management
Preferred Area of Experience: Development and/or model validation
Preferred Skill(s): Quantitative Analysis, Model Risk Assessment Techniques, Stress Testing Methodologies

The base pay for this position is generally between $115,000.00 and $160,000.00. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
