The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Duties include but are not limited to: 1. Monitor shared email boxes for correspondence and documentation.2. Draft well-written email responses to inquiries from students, parents, college administrators and HESC staff regarding award status, issues with documentation, and/or to request additional information. 3. Ensure all documentation is received by the applicable deadline, is complete, includes signatures and meets program requirements. 4. Use databases as needed to validate the student meets the program eligibility criteria and Process documentation. 5. Save documents in appropriate shared folders and database. Update individual student records for grant and scholarship programs based on supplemental documentation received. 6. Maintain spreadsheets and databases to catalog documentation and status 7. Make eligibility determinations based on established criteria for each grant and scholarship program and update the appropriate database with the students status. 8. Use database to look up student account records and status as requested. 9. Route emails as needed to other business units and escalate issues to supervisor. 10. Perform follow up activities to determine status and close out emails. 11. Assist with other tasks as assigned. 12. Perform other duties as assigned. Use effective time management5. Be able to communicate efficiently verbally and in writing6. Offer constructive feedback and provide suggestions to improve current procedures7.
