2nd Officer

We are seeking a 2nd Officer for our clients semi-submersible accommodation vessel in the UK to coordinate third-party communications between standby vessels and overside work parties on the platform. The start date is 21st of August with an expected duration of approximately three weeks. There is potential for this to become an ongoing assignment.

The position includes but not limited to: 

1. Manage communications via radio to ensure that work parties and standby cover are aligned
2. Work with client where required to manage 500meter zone entry and exit
3. Liaise where necessary with client for logistics and 3rd party overside cover

• STCW Certificate of Competence (OOW Unlimited)
• GMDSS General Operators (GOC)
• CoP in Designated Security Duties
• ECDIS Generic
• STCW Basic Safety Training
• Prof Survival Craft and rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats
• STCW Advanced Fire Fighting
• MIST
• Bi-deltoid Measurement (PSTT)
