What are the primary responsibilities in the Accountant 1 position?

• Preparation and submission of customer and tenant billings
• Works to resolve customer and tenant billing issues and past due accounts
• Preparation of employee travel and other expense reports
• Assistance with month-end close process, including, but not limited to:
  • Journal Entries
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ad hoc reporting
• Other special projects as assigned, which may include but are not limited to:
  • Annual personal property tax reporting
  • Assistance with Accounts Payable related tasks
  • Assistance with other accounting-related duties

What required background will make you successful?

• Associates Degree required, accounting preferred
• General entry level knowledge of accounting competencies
• Experience in the areas listed above preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel)
• Experience in working with Government ERP systems (CostPoint preferred)
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance
• US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

Where is the position located?

This position is located at our Tucson, AZ Headquarters. Remote work/telework is not available for this position.
