FuelClouds mobile app is a crucial piece of the FuelCloud customer experience, and the Android Engineer position will work on optimizing and adding new features to make the app even more impactful for our customers. Youll work with a cross-functional team to define, design, and deliver new features that build towards FuelClouds vision of the future of fueling.

In our fast-paced environment, youll need to work efficiently and collaboratively with your teammates to iteratively develop new features and bug fixes. Whether youre taking on a task independently or working in concert with your colleagues, your ultimate responsibility will be to make the FuelCloud Mobile app the best that it can be.

Job description

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications by identifying and resolving any bugs or performance issues.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to optimize application functionality and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining mobile applications.
• Good knowledge of Android platform: Activity, Fragment, jetpack compose, process & thread, memory management, performance management…
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• DSA is a part of our interview process
• Communicate well in English
• Experience in working with Socket (TCP/UDP) is a plus
• Have experience in Flutter is a plus
