CUSTOMER SERVICE
Overall Responsibility: To serve as a liaison between customers, service technicians and sales representatives. Assist customers in scheduling service and resolving concerns. Perform additional customer communications duties.
Phase One Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and return all phone calls to customers in an appropriate amount of time.
- Enter new customers into computer.
- Schedule services as needed.
- Communicate with technicians and sales staff of any changes to their schedules and/or work.
- Type up contracts for technicians and sales staff.
- Create and mail new customer letters.
- Create, print, and mail postcards monthly (for quarterly, semi-annual, and annual customers).
- Work cooperatively with all departments and employees.
- Perform additional tasks as instructed by management.
Phase Two Responsibilities:
- Maintain chemical inventory, order chemicals, and record use.
- Print statements, renewals, and booster letters.
Phase Three Responsibilities:
- Process payments.
- Manage collections.
Qualifications:
- Good written, verbal, follow up and telephone communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Abilities to sell and communicate.
- Excellent human-relations skills - a sense of humor.
- Basic skills in reading, writing, and math.
- Must remain open and flexible to changes in the industry, as well as the growth and evolution of the office.
