DATA QUALITY ANALYST

Jasco is looking for a Data Quality Analyst to ensure the integrity, reliability, and optimal performance of all data systems by conducting thorough data integrity audits, collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance application integration, and providing actionable insights through comprehensive data analysis. Data Integrity

• Data Integrity Audits: Conducts regular audits to notify the business of data quality issues and works to resolve these issues by identifying systems and integration-related problems to improve and prevent data integrity issues.
• Business Analyst Functions for Application Integration Enhancements: Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze and document requirements for application enhancements and integration improvements. Provide valuable insights on data usage, integration points, and process improvements to improve data integrity and data flow across systems.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, providing actionable insights to support the creation of comprehensive and accurate reports.
• Data Governance: Work with IT and business teams to establish data standards and ensure adherence to data policies and procedures.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline business processes, enhance data accuracy, and optimize operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Power BI, SQL and Reporting
• Data Reliability: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data in Power BI and other reporting platforms by routinely analyzing and verifying data using SQL within Jascos data warehouse.
• Documentation: Document the attributes of semantic models, including data sources, relationships and calculations, to ensure they are well-documented for future reference and maintenance.
• Error Handling: Identify and resolve errors or issues in data processing and report generations within Power BI, ensuring accurate and reliable data insights.
• Performance Optimization: Work closely with the IT team to monitor and enhance the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards. Address any data flow bottlenecks and implement improvements to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Business Requirements: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and comprehend their reporting requirements and translate these needs into precise technical specifications.
• Advance Analytics: Provide support to peers in utilizing Power Query and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to address complex business reporting requirements.
• Database Design: Contribute to enhancing the design of SQL databases to better support business analytics and perform routine analysis to identify data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and optimal performance.

• Bachelors degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience is preferred
• A minimum of 2 years of previous data analysis or business analysis experience is required
• Must have Microsoft SQL experience
• Power BI experience is preferred
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Basic understanding of data modeling, database design, and data integration concepts
• Understanding of statistical methodologies.
• Proficiency in business processes and data workflows to aid in troubleshooting and enhancement of existing processes.
• Excellent project management skills: must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have the capacity to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.
