Location: UCHealth Parkview Medical Center, US:CO:Pueblo Department: UCHlth Financial Counseling FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $17.19 - $25.79 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicants relevant experience Summary: Determines CO Medicaid eligibility requirements and acts as an advocate on behalf of patients. Responsibilities:

• Assists patients with the program application process, including Health First CO.
• Determines program eligibility.
• Collaborates with Health First CO to generate program determinations.
• Completes tasks as assigned by department leadership to assist self-pay patients and patients that are underinsured.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
