Position Summary:

The Interchurch Center is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Receptionist & Administrative Supportprofessional to assist with front desk operations and general administrative tasks. This role is crucial in maintaining an organized and welcoming environment for our nonprofit tenants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception & Guest Services:
  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls appropriately.
  • Provide general information and assistance to tenants and guests.
  • ID Badge Processing & Office Support:
  • Issue and manage ID badges for tenants and guests.
  • Maintain records of issued badges and update databases as needed.
  • Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Organizing & Light Cleaning:
  • Keep the reception area, common spaces, and office supplies organized.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness in shared areas, including light tidying of workspaces and supply stations.
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and reordered as necessary.
  • Other Duties as Assigned:
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed.
  • Assist with special projects or events hosted at The Interchurch Center.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience in reception, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic database management.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and pay close attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
