Office Assistant

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be proficient in various office tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment, providing support to staff and management, and enhancing overall productivity.

Duties

  • Manage incoming calls and maintain a professional phone etiquette while handling inquiries.
  • Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and clarity before distribution.
  • Serve as a personal assistant to management as needed, providing administrative support.
  • Greet visitors at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Utilize phone systems effectively to facilitate communication within the office.
  • Maintain computer literacy to manage various software applications for office tasks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong proficiency in phone systems and excellent phone etiquette skills.
  • Exceptional proofreading abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in calendar management and scheduling is preferred.
  • Familiarity with clerical tasks such as filing and data entry.
  • Comfortable working at the front desk and interacting with clients or visitors.
  • High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
