Payment Processing Representative

The Payment Processing Representative plays a key role in supporting government and municipal clients by ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments. This position is responsible for managing a high volume of transactions, resolving customer inquiries, and maintaining detailed records in compliance with established procedures. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Job Functions
  • Handle inbound customer calls from start to resolution, processing payments, addressing payment inquiries, resolving complaints and providing requested payment information.
  • Deliver courteous, professional service to both internal and external customers, striving for high levels of satisfaction.
  • Adhere to security protocols and confidentiality standards when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience: HS/GED and 0 years
  • Ability to type and speak simultaneously while navigating systems during live calls.
  • Comfortable using computers, including email and web browsers.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a service or data entry role.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
