Product Owner (Advanced Analytics)

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Product Owner (Advanced Analytics) to join a leading logistics technology organization. The Product Owner will drive analytics initiatives by bridging the gap between data science teams, business stakeholders, and engineering. This role reports directly to the Head of Analytics.

Responsibilities of the Product Owner - Analytics include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Own the product life cycle from conceptualization and road map development to iterative delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data science teams, business stakeholders, and engineering to ensure analytics solutions align with the organizations strategic objectives.
  • Product Management: Utilize agile product management techniques to drive analytics initiatives.
  • Domain Expertise: Apply deep domain knowledge in consulting, logistics, or brokerage to inform product decisions.
  • Impact: Deliver measurable business impact through effective analytics solutions.

Qualifications for the Product Owner - Analytics include:

  • 7-10 years of experience in consulting and/or logistics or brokerage.
  • Strong understanding of both the business and technical aspects of data analytics.
  • Proven track record in agile product management.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Atlanta if not based in Atlanta or Chicago.

Compensation for the Product Owner - Analytics includes:

  • Salary: $155,000 - $175,000
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law, and Holidays.
