Project Coordinator

Description:

Purpose of the Position:The Project Coordinator will directly support Project Manager(s), create/maintain/execute document controls (digital or physical), oversee database management and track customer deliverables. Included and not limited to these tasks: assist in the development and/or improvement of project processes and other given administration tasks as assigned by, or to assist the Project Manager(s).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Tasks: Responsible for the request of project creation, tracking and monitoring of project deliverables, PO/VPO requests, dates, and deadlines. Plan and coordinate project scheduling, budgeting, and administrative tasks in Fullerton and customer systems.
  • Coordination & Support: Provide project and data controls support for projects across the construction organization for Fullerton.
  • Communication: Create and distribute correspondence relative to the team, project, and program for both internal and external distribution.
  • Data Integrity: Update necessary tracking systems to ensure that project and program status is maintained with complete accuracy. Provide regular and timely reports highlighting variances.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain accurate and complete files for projects and programs. Assist in the creation of bid documents, cost analyses, and purchase order requests.
  • Project Management Assistance: Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Required

  • Education: Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years experience in general business environment with project coordination and/or administrative experience; wireless telecom, OSP, or utility industry experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, time management, administrative, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills / Must be able to document and present work in a clear and concise manner / Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects / Ability to follow instructions, respond to management directions, take responsibility for own actions, commit to work additional hours, if necessary, to reach goals/complete tasks on time / Comfortable in a self-directed environment

Computer Equipment and Software Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Sitetracker experience and project management software knowledge a plus.
