The Senior Sales Coordinator (SSC) is responsible for providing sales support to business development colleagues within Korn Ferry. There are five core functions that comprise this role: client deliverables, local marketing, tools and research, contract management, and sales administration. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Deliverables 

  • Manage complex solutions and locate information to fit into proposals, leading process and directing others 
  • Project manage locally created proposals, presentations, and RFPs 
  • Coordinate with proposal team to gather standard content, references, graphics, etc. 
  • Assist with creating, assembling, editing, proofing, and reviewing formatting for proposals, presentations, and other client-facing sales documents 

Territory Marketing 

  • Provide input for territory marketing plans 
  • Coordinate and manage the execution of local marketing activities, such as onsite events, webinars, and e-mail campaigns 
  • Partner with marketing team to execute event invitations, attendance, etc. 

Tools & Research 

  • Provide research information on clients and prospect organizations, including organizational structure, key executives, latest news, strategies, and financial health 
  • Partner with sales team members on data reporting from customer relationship management (CRM) system, including forecast and pipeline reports 
  • Provide expertise and support for Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) in the creation of client deliverables 

Contracts Management 

  • Access relevant contract templates and create initial contract draft 
  • Work jointly with the sales team to complete contract content including gathering additional details, facilitating reviews, and proofing 

Sales Administration 

  • Support client-facing and internal sales meetings, including scheduling, prepping, materials production, etc. 
  • Act as first point of contact and back-up for sales team 
  • Track and order supply of books and marketing materials 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Broad Support 

  • Partner with Sales Consultants on larger Proposals and Presentations if the solution is complex and/or there is a time restriction
  • Has a strong understanding of the Korn Ferry products and solutions and is able to navigate cross-functionally to build new documents to support business development growth
  • Thinks and acts more broadly to improve process for across all sales
  • Strong editing eye; knows the Korn Ferry brand and how to elevate the brand effectively on client-facing documents 
  • Helps onboard new sales coordinators in first 100 days on the job

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Four years of work experience in a sales, marketing, or project support role strongly preferred
  • Highly proactive with self-managed drive and a willingness to be flexible/adaptable when needed
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, utilize internal resources, and navigate systems.
  • Strong proofreading, editing, and communication skills 
  • Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to quickly learn internal database software and other new systems
  • Knowledge of Korn Ferry products and services a plus

EDUCATION

Bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
