SUMMARY

Supports key recruitment activities of the Talent Acquisition team which focuses on sourcing, recruiting, screening and interviewing talent for all job levels within the Credit Union. Schedules and screens candidates; and provides administrative support. Provides stellar service to candidates and internal customers, and project coordination throughout the recruiting process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

·        Maintain job postings, employee referral programs, and social media presence

·        Establish and maintain relationships with external recruiting sources

·        Contribute to recruitment advertising and strategies to attract talent

·        Source and screen candidates across a variety of channels, as needed

·        Conduct initial candidate interviews screens and evaluations

·        Recommend qualified candidates to Talent Acquisition leadership

·        Assume responsibility for select requisitions and priority applications

·        Participate in recruiting activities as directed

Interview & Scheduling Coordination

·        Schedule and arrange interviews (video, onsite) with candidates and hiring managers

·        Heavy calendar management: scheduling, communication, and follow-ups

·        Monitor interview attendance and confirm participation

·        May conduct phone screens as needed

Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Support

·        Maintain and update ATS with candidate status and documentation

·        Process tasks and troubleshoot issues within ATS

·        Edit and post job positions following internal standards

·        Track candidate lifecycle and correspondence

·        Assist with updating job profiles via interviews with hiring managers

Pre-boarding & Onboarding

·        Assist with onboarding for entry-level to senior management hires

·        Conduct and coordinate onboarding/pre-boarding activities

·        Verify and adjudicate pre-employment background checks

·        Ensure completion of hiring documentation and compliance with regulations

·        Recommend improvements to onboarding processes for efficiency

·        Manage confidential documents and candidate records

Events, Internships & Projects

·        Coordinate hiring events, job fairs, and career fairs

·        Support internship program logistics (travel, accommodations, onboarding)

·        Collaborate on talent acquisition projects and participate in other ad hoc initiatives to support TA function

General Administrative Support

·        Communicate effectively with candidates, recruiters, and leadership

·        Manage workload to meet deadlines and business needs

·        Execute tasks under defined procedures and supervision

·        Carry out miscellaneous or additional duties as assigned

COMPENSATION

The pay range for this position is $20.67-25.96 per hour and may vary based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associates Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 3 years of administrative support experience or staffing management experience required.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

·        Talent Acquisition: Ability to evaluate resumes against job requirements. Working knowledge of interview techniques, applicant screening methods and related employment laws. Experience with professional social networks (LinkedIn, in particular). Proficiency in using digital tools, such as applicant tracking systems, learning management systems, and other HR software.

·        Basic knowledge of human resource functions such as recruitment best practices, employee engagement, compensation, rewards, learning and development preferred.

·        Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and present information with potential candidates, team members, and stakeholders at all levels. Ability to provide outstanding service in an efficient, timely, and reliable manner.

·        Organization & Multi-tasking: Superior organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines (i.e., follow through and execute) in a fast-paced environment. Strong calendar management skills.

·        Technical Savvy: Strong personal computer skills using Microsoft Office. Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems, resume databases, and human resources information system and other relevant tools.

·        Organizational Culture: Ability to maintain a positive and caring atmosphere for members and employees consistent with the Credit Unions mission, philosophy, values and service standards. Promotes respect and harmonious relations among employees and with departments throughout the organization. Maintains discretion and confidentiality.
