Temporary Program Coordinator
The Patient Access Specialist provides physicians, patients and families with scheduling services for outpatient or inpatient procedures provided by McLeod Regional Medical Center, McLeod Medical Center Darlington or McLeod Medical Center Dillon. Scheduling services consist of initial or new patient scheduling, cancellations of previously scheduled appointments and rebooking appointments as needed. Scheduling representatives understand that they serve both the external customers of the patients and physicians, but also server the internal customers of the departments of all three medical centers. Work Schedule 80 hours biweekly as scheduled Minimum 2 years data entry/computer experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of Windows based computer systems required. Written and verbal communication skills with persons of all ages and diverse backgrounds required. Minimum 2 years experience in call center preferred. Healthcare call center preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Experience with scheduling.com or other medical scheduling software preferred. Experience with Siemens Invision products preferred. Experience with Lotus Notes preferred. Problem solving and performance improvement skills preferred.
