This role requires strong proficiency in English, excellent typing skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality output.

Duties

• Transcribe audio files into clear and accurate written documents.
• Edit transcripts for clarity, grammar, and adherence to the Chicago Manual Style.
• Proofread completed transcripts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Translate spoken content into written format while maintaining the original meaning and context.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information contained in audio files.

Skills

• Proficient in typing with a high level of accuracy and speed.
• Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Familiarity with the Chicago Manual Style for formatting documents.
• Excellent editing skills to refine transcripts for clarity and readability.
• Ability to proofread documents effectively to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Experience with transcription software or tools is a plus but not required.

Pay: $38,296.00 - $42,502.00 per year
